The methodology
Ascend.
Ascend is the system behind every engagement, every workshop, and the book. It's how a $2–5M business stops depending on its owner and starts running on its own strength. One layer that sits above everything, the Source Code, and four areas that decide whether a business scales.
Where Ascend came from
Built out of twenty years of operating, not designed in a room.
Five businesses built and sold, and 78 businesses worked with. The same problems kept showing up in $2–5M businesses, in the same shape, and the same moves kept working. Ascend is those moves, written down and put in order. It's a book, and it's the system every engagement runs on.
The architecture
One layer above everything. Four areas below it.
The Source Code is the layer above. Every business that works with Ascendea goes through it, because nothing else holds without it. Built on top of it are the four areas that decide whether a business scales: Revenue, Profit, Systems, and Leadership.
The four Codes
Four levers. One system.
Built on the Source Code are the four areas that decide whether a business scales. Each one is a Code. They're worked together, because pulling one without the others just moves the problem.
-
The Revenue Code
In most $2-5M businesses, revenue depends on the owner. The Revenue Code builds a revenue system that grows without the owner being the reason it grows.

The Profit Code
Plenty of $2-5M businesses grow revenue and stay broke. The Profit Code fixes what revenue alone never will: the profit you actually keep.

The Systems Code
If the business needs you for everything, you don't own a business, you own a job that owns you. The Systems Code changes that.

The Leadership Code
The Leadership Code builds the layer that lets the team carry more of the business, and lets the owner lead instead of do.

Why all five, together
The Codes work together because the business does.
Pull Revenue without Profit, and you scale a business that loses money faster. Build Systems without Leadership, and the team still waits on the owner for every call. The Source Code gives the visibility. The four Codes pull the levers. Together, that's a business that outperforms the owner. Apart, they're just four good ideas.
